Play it once. Keep the record.
Echo carries your recently played Spotify tracks into one private playlist, newest first.
Before you connect
Echo reads your Spotify profile, recently played history, and private playlist data only to maintain the archive.
An encrypted essential cookie keeps this browser signed in for at most seven days. We do not sell or share your Spotify data.
A small routine for a short history window.
Connect
Spotify authorizes four limited scopes. Echo stores credentials on this deployment, never in browser JavaScript.
Collect
Echo polls the available recent-history window and prepends unseen tracks to your private playlist.
Leave cleanly
Disconnect deletes the local account and playlist association immediately. The remote playlist stays in Spotify, but reconnecting creates a new Echo playlist. A keyed callback fence becomes inactive within 15 minutes; best-effort maintenance may delete its row later.
The compact terms
Connection data remains on this deployment until you disconnect. Echo does not sell or share it. Disconnect leaves the remote playlist untouched but forgets its association, so reconnecting creates a new Echo playlist; best-effort maintenance removes an inactive keyed callback fence.
Spotify exposes only a limited recent-history window, so no archive can be guaranteed complete. Privacy contact: hello@b-raffetseder.com.
